In the framework of the open invitation that EMST address in 2010 to Greek new media artists for the production of a new online work, the selection committes examined all the proposals that were submitted and chose Spyros Nakas work titled Fever. This work will be presented from October 18th in the Media Lounge of the museum in Athens, Greece and on the website http://www.emst.gr/fever/

For the second year the B & M Theocharakis Foundation in Athens, Greece cooperates with the renowned Accademia della Scala di Milano. This year's program includes four concerts for voice and piano presenting great moments of the opera history. Educational Program for children aged 4-7 yrs

Every Sunday from January 29th until February 19th 2012, from 11:00 until 12:30 at Herakleidon Museum in Athens, Greece, Vasilia Vaxevani will be unfolding stories from all over the world, using the kamishibai* technique, precursor of Japanese comics. Together, the children will create their own "paper theater".

As a result of the high attendance from school groups and the commitment to its dynamic role in the area of education, the Herakleidon Museum in Athens, Greece has decided to proceed with the extension of the exhibition "Sol LeWitt, LINE AND COLOR" until March 18th 2012. Per Kirkeby, one of the most important neo-expressionists artist in Denmark, is presented for the first time in Greece, in an exhibition that depicts his development through 29 selected works. Painter, sculptor, writer and poet Kirkeby is inspired by Byzantine art which he approached with his particular personal style. The exhibition is presented at Byzantine and Christian Museum in Athens, Greece until 24th March.
