The City of Athens Culture, Sports and Youth Organization (OPANDA) and the Greek Union of Tae Kwon Do, organize the European Junior Tae Kwon Do Championship in the "Panagiotis Gazkas" stadium, in Mets, from the 11th to 17th of June 2012, sponsored by the General Secretariat of Sports.

The world premiere of the opera performance "Opus Elgin: The destruction of the Parthenon" will take place at the Athens Concert Hall "Megaron Mousikis", Alexandra Triandi Hall on May 29th, 2012. The opera was composed by Theodore Stathis and it will be directed by the world known director Peter Tiboris.

A series of events, including art exhibitions, theater and music performances and video screenings will take place within the heart of Athens Greece, near the City Hall in Kotzia Square. A number of guided tours are scheduled in order to make the public and the citizens aware of the above cultural activities and familiarise them with the area.

The Association of Greek National Guides is organizing a TREASURE HUNT on Sunday February 5,2012.
