Windsurfing and kite surfing

The climate in Athens is ideal for windsurfing with warm temperatures and slight winds most of the year.

Windsurfers, head to the following Attica beaches to indulge in the sport: Anavyssos, Varkiza, Lavrio, Loutsa, Rafina, Schinias and Galazia Akti (Blue Beach) at Marathon. Kite surfing fanatics can be found at Schinias beach and Marathon beach.
