Taking the underground down to Victoria station and turning right into Patission Street, one comes to the country's National Archaeological Museum, the largest of its kind in Greece. Here some of the most important works of art from Antiquity are displayed, such as the golden jewelry and mask of Agamemnon, kouroi and korai with their enigmatic smiles, vases, utensils and other objects.
