Three hills with political importance: Areios Pagos (the hill of justice), Pnyx (the hill of Democracy) with the little Church of Loubardiaris decorated by Pikionis, and the Hill of the Muses, which the Athenians chose to honor their benefactor, Philopappos. A fourth hill is dominated by the Observatory, where one can walk among the trees and have an interesting view day and night.
