Athens: a fantastic "Town for Kids"

In Athens, the weekend of October 4th and 5th provides kids the opportunity to live a unique experience. Under the title "Town for Kids", a festival full of games, entertaining and educational activities for children takes place at Alsos Stratou at Goudi district.

In 15.000 square meters, the organizers have created a fairy land, where fairy - tale heroes have established their homes and welcome their young friends.

All events unfold within the framework of a fairy-tale that aims to stimulate kids' interest on environmental issues. The tale's heroes are a company of cute fishes facing the danger of becoming... a soup.

The kids become an integral part of the story through their participation in the festival's workshops on circulatory behavior, break dance and hip-hop junior, cooking, environmental issues as well as while attending the festival's art program which includes theater performances, movie screenings and fairy-tale narrations.
