The legendary Santana appearing live in Athens

Carlos Santana will be appearing 8 July at the OAKA stadium in Athens with his 10-member all-star band as part of his "Supernatural Santana - A Trip through the Hits" tour. This is a retrospective tour featuring major hits by the artist who changed the sound of rock and gave rise to an entirely new guitar tradition with his famous solos.

Santa received the "Century Award" for his body of work at the 5th Billboard Music Awards and has been inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine ranked him 15 among the greatest guitarists of all time.

Many may not know that Santana and his wife founded the Milagro Foundation in 1998 to help underrepresented children in the USA and abroad.

Part of the revenue from ticket sales in Greece will be donated to the Milagro Foundation, according to the artist's wishes.

The man who gave rock a Latin rhythm will be in Athens for a unique, live journey through his innumerable hits, giving the audience the opportunity to enjoy one of the world's greatest rock musicians, the master Carlos Santana.
