Alexander Robotnick and Alden Tyrell at Bios

The creative team at Bios and the Outro team have invited Alden Tyrell, one of the representatives of The Hague's electronic music scene, for a live appearance on 27 February. Also appearing will be Italian Alexander Robotnick for a DJ set featuring Italian disco and electro tracks. The evening will be opened by NO. Alexander Robotnick (Hot Elephant)

No one could be brief in describing the musical course of Alexander Robotonick, aka Maurizio Dami. The Italian producer with the overwhelming personality that has made him famously popular worldwide began his involvement with music as a founding member of Avida in 1981. In 1983, he released "Problèmes d'amour" under the name of Alexander Robotnick and it remains perhaps his best known piece.

Dami's most recent project, in collaboration with Ludus Pinsky, is the presentation of an analogue set, influenced by the analogue sound of the '70s and '80s that both artists consider the authentic electro sound.

Alden Tyrell (Clone/ Viewlexx)

Alden Tyrell is responsible for contemporary productions now considered classics, like "Love Explosion," "Phaze Me" and "Obsession." He lives and works in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and usually collaborates with Clone and Viewlexx. His own musical roots lie in hip hop and disco, and he has been composing since he learned how to turn on a synthesizer.

Although Tyrell is very productive, he chooses to release just a small part of his work, which is why his live appearances are unique opportunities to introduce the public to his unique musical aesthetic.
