Matt Jordan

Dassera Art Space presents a show by British artist Matt Jordan from 12 to 31 March. Using clear colours, distinctive graphics and plenty of humour, Jordan presents critical social themes in a light-hearted way which is above all "British." Don't miss this interesting exhibition by Matt Jordan at Dassera Art Space in Athens, Greece. It is the first time that his work is being shown in Athens, at Dassera Art Space.

The artist uses colour to change the feeling of an image, disguising a more serious, darker element to this work. The well-worn materials he uses often are in contrast with the intense colours and modern designs of his pop style. Bright and playful images are placed on recycled or salvaged materials to evoke a feeling of both old and new.

Matt Jordan lives and works in London. His relationship with art and his need to live in an ideally constructed world with humour as the primary element led him to an idiosyncratic artistic expression which he has presented to great acclaim in shows in England and the US.
