Rob Swift
The son of Latin music DJ, Robert Aguilar during the '80s absorbed the Black musical traditional along with the new musical hip-hop movement that was spreading through his native New York. With DJing legends as models, such Kool Herc or the inventor of scratch, Grand Wizard Theodore, Swift developed his own particular style which contributed to the substantial growth of turntablism on the East Coast. Musically multifaceted, he was actively involved in recordings of the golden age of the '90s, adding scratch sounds to classic discs like Fat Joe "Represent's" debut or records from Kool G Rap to Cypress Hill.
Don't miss the one and only Rob Swift, who will light up the turntables on 24 March at Bios in Athens, Greece.
