James Thiérrée's "Raoul" at Rex Theatre Kotopouli Stage
James Thiérrée, continuing the romantic circus tradition, carries the genes of a true artist and presents "Raoul" from 14-16, 18 and 19 June at the Rex Theatre Kotopouli Stage in Athens, Greece. Thiérrée moves masterfully like a magician between the roles of acrobat, dancer and mime. His new work relates the story of Raoul who, as another Robinson Crusoe, quietly enjoys life in a deserted landscape.
Strange creatures parade across the stage and draw the audience into a fairytale world. Raoul desperately tries to identify the stranger who will transform his daily life into a journey of existential exploration.
