Ejekt Festival 2010 in Athens

Ejekt 2010 in Athens, Greece will usher in the new decade with bands of wide appeal and artistic acclaim on 13 July 2010 at the Faliro Taekwondo Pavilion. Rock gods Faith No More, the ultimate rock/electronica band Unkle and the godfathers of punk rock, Bad Religion, will all be appearing on the Ejekt Festival 2010 stage. The festival is celebrating its sixth year of continuous presence and has become an established musical event of summer in Athens, linking rock, pop and electronic music with lineups that each year serves as a point of reference for domestic concert events.

A year following their sold-out performance at the Vrahon Theatre last August, Faith No More return to Athens, Greece for another exciting appearance. After their triumphant sold-out world tour, hailed as "the most important concert event of 2009," Mike Patton and his band have prepared a show that goes well beyond the meaning of "rock concert."

The second name on the Eject 2010 lineup is another favourite of Greek audiences. Unkle return to Athens, Greece two years after an amazing appearance at Eject 2008 that left the audience speechless.

Bad Religion return to Athens, Greece 15 years after their first appearance to assuage fans' hunger for punk, rock, alternative and metal music. Bad Religion has been on the punk-rock scene for 30 years and as one of the biggest names in the genre worldwide, they have opened the way for Offspring, Rancid NOFX and many others.

The Ejekt 2010 lineup will be rounded off with Greek band Zebra Tracks and the Serbian Obojeni Program, bands that won competitions held in the two countries in April and the opportunity to appear at the festival.
