DeAnna Maganias exhibition at Rebecca Camhi Gallery

The Rebecca Camhi Gallery presents in Athens, Greece the third individual exhibition by DeAnna Maganias titled Bathed in Light. The title relates to a work of the same name, where this phrase is written in Braille in the centre of a large piece of white paper. The show will run until 23 September. Maganias uses sculpture, video, painting and photography to create works with objects, spaces and situations we take for granted and pay no attention to, in this way emphasizing our natural relationship with these things.

Maganias' works reflect the way in which objects, environments and locations deviate from the routine as one watches them and how they come to contradict their common use when they are approached through a more attentive point of view.
