U2 at Olympic Stadium in Athens

U2, one of the greatest rock bands of all times, are coming 3 September to the OAKA Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece for a concert never to be forgotten. Following their hugely successful 2009 tour, U2 continue with their successful 360 Tour this year. Having recently released their U2 Mobile album No Line on the Horizon, the band and its cylindrical video system, huge stage, revolving bridges and naturally, U2 passion, makes this concert experience an extravaganza.

The concert is supported by a singular stage construction with perfect visibility from all sides of the stadium, offering audiences a unique experience. With a cylindrical video system and a web of LED screens, a steel construction hanging 45 m above the ground over a huge scene and revolving bridges, the band has created a 360-degree experience never before seen by any audience. As a result, European fans of U2 who were not able to participate in last year's tour now have a chance to experience the U2 360 tour in the coming year with confirmed stops in Germany, Denmark, Finland, Russia, Austria, Greece, Turkey, France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal.

Snow Patrol will be appearing before U2. Snow Patrol is the most important alternative rock band of the last 15 years and was selected by U2 to appear as a special guest at their concert at the Olympic Stadium. Irish rock "strength in numbers" will be the slogan of the biggest and most spectacular concert in Athens for 2010.
