Signmark live in Athens

Signmark is coming to Athens, Greece for the first time on 11 September for a special concert at Gagarin 205 full of surprises, projections and art exhibitions in the foyer. He was told he would never be able to do what he loved. But he did. He qualified to enter the Eurovision contest last year for Finland. In fact, he was the first to sign a recording contract and became an inspiration and example in America and Europe, and now in Athens, Greece. His distinguishing characteristic and at the same time his gift is that he is deaf.

He does not perceive music in the same way that most people do - through his ears. He feels in a way that no one can understand - with his body. Signmark is inspired, he composes, he sings, he expresses and he feels.

Signmark draws his lyrics using his body on stage, while a more conventional and beautiful voice accompanies him for those in the audience who can hear, presenting songs with hip hop rhythms and strokes of funk. In the background, a third member enhances the journey with images and lights in other dimensions.

At the end of the event, which begins at 22:00, there will be a prize drawing with the first prize being one year of free tuition at the Kivotos sign language school.
