Lorca and the cinema: With director Frederic Amat at the Benaki Museum

A premiere screening at the Benaki Museum in Athens, Greece, of the film Viaje a la Luna (Trip to the Moon) (1998, 19'), based on the sole film script written by Federico Garcia Lorca, will be screened on 24 September. The director, Frederic Amat, distinguished Catalan painter, engraver and set designer, will be present at the event.

The presentation will be accompanied by a screening of Un Chien Andalou (An Andalusian Dog) (1929, 17'), a film by Luis Bunuel and Salvador Dali, inspired by the poet of Granada.

The screening will be followed by a discussion in which Frederic Amat will participate.
