After almost a year, the soloists of the astounding Vienna Philharmonic (the best in the world as stated by Wagner) are back in Athens, Greece for a wonderful concert. The «Wiener Mozartisten» ensemble consists of soloists of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, which the Athenian audience enjoyed in a unique concert in June 2010 at the Athens Concert Hall. The 1900 tickets for that event were sold-out within 3 hours, while approximately 4000 Athenian lovers of the orchestra watched the concert through giant screens put at the venue's gardens.
Now, the «Wiener Mozartisten» are coming to Athens, Greece for a spring concert with Schubert, Dvorak and.... Mozart of course!
The artistic director and conductor of the ensemble, Hans Peter Ochsenhofer, is himself a veteran member of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, an experienced chamber musician, and Professor for Viola at the Vienna University of Music.
