TREASURE HUNT

The Association of Greek National Guides is organizing a TREASURE HUNT on Sunday February 5,2012.
The event is under the aegis of The Municipality of Athens,GNTO, The Athens Tourism and Development Agency and Breathtaking Athens.The occasion is the International Day of Tourist Guides and the aim is to promote lesser known archaeological sites and museums of Athens.

The participating museums this year are:
The Museum of the Ancient Agora,
The Museum of Kerameikos,
The Benaki Museum of Islamic Art
The Museum of Greek Folk Musical Instruments ( F.Anogeiannakis)
The Athens Municipal Art Gallery- Metaxourgeio Building
The Museum of Traditional Pottery

Registration will be from 10-12 noon at the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments.
The participants will be given a list of the museums and a list of the exhibits they are required to discover.
Tourist Guides will be available at each venue to facilitate the participants to find the exhibit and to respond to
the given question accompanying each item.At the finish line the players will turn in the responses thus showing that they have completed the quest.

All finalists will receive a prize or a free guided tour the following Sunday.
