Experiential Drawing Workshops for Adults

Millions of people around the world observe the work of M.C.Escher and V.Vasarely in order to understand the geometric forms and techniques that are hidden within.

In this creative workshop, organized by the Herakleidon Museum, participants will draw with the use of pencil and geometric tools (ruler, triangle and compass) to discover the hidden secrets of the pictorial composition. The group will work as artists during the creative process while following and analyzing their vision.

Our aim is to learn through drawing and the use of color as well studying the division of geometric shapes such as the circle and its division into equal parts. The construction of three dimensional regular polygons and other methods will also be used bringing participants to a closer understanding of what hides in the mind of the masters of geometric art.
