Athens …let’s go insanely innovative!

Global Ignite Show comes to Greece with Athens being the first city to host the event. Ignite is about ideas that can change the world, that can affect people life's, that are shaping our future, that identifies "Innovation Generation". It is nothing more than the craziest geek event that alters our way of thinking; that re-evaluates accepted norms, roles and standards; insanity, "disruptivity", enlightenment, is what you will see and find at Ignite Athens.   

Ignite events share and spread the knowledge of G(r)EEKS while offering a unique opportunity to expand your network in the tech scene. The concept is "Enlighten us, but make it quick". Each speaker gets five minutes on stage to present an idea, with 20 slides that automatically advance after 15 seconds. Welcomed to attend are startupers, pioneers, visionaries, future Leaders, dreamers.

The first Ignite Show took place in Seattle in 2006, and since then the event has become an International phenomenon, with gatherings in more than 120 cities around the world.

Ignite Athens will take place on 20th of September, and will feature presentations selected by members of the Ignite Innovation Jury, as well as topics selected by the organizers. Presenters will talk about their passions, will pitch their ideas, will share their achievements and network with an audience of Vcs, technologists, investors, possible partners, friends, geeks, Innovators and leaders, from Greece and around the world.

"Do not be a Maybe", be an Igniter a risk-taker, as you might encounter at the show someone who believes in your idea and you can start chatting about your future; you might listen to 5 minutes from the Digital Agenda for Europe, or from the Open Gov, or even "My Fail Tale". And you know what? They might even talk about your idea and like it!
