The Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens, Greece presents the exhibition The Art of Book. The exhibition is organized in cooperation with the Department of Graphic Arts - Printmaking & Book Art of the Athens School of Fine Arts.

The Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens, Greece, will host an exhibition of works by Vasso Katraki (1914-1988) from 4 November to 31 January. Katraki is probably the foremost engraver in modern Greek art of the second half of the 20th century. She has participated in international exhibitions and biennales, like those of Alexandria, Sao Paolo, Tokyo and Leipzig, earning important distinctions.
The Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens, Greece will host from 12 May to 12 September 2010 an exhibition with works by the British artist Sarah Lucas. It will be showing new work from the "Nuds" series, an important development in Lucas's work, a self-reflecting series that moves away from the gender-based critique of her work in the ‘90s and takes the earlier figurative "bunny" sculpture series to a more abstract form.
The Museum of Cycladic Art will host from 12 May until 19 September an exhibition with works by the internationally acclaimed artist, Louise Bourgeois. The main emphasis of the presentation of her work will be the display of the so-called "Personages", sculptures which have Surrealist origins
The Deste Prize was established in 1999 and is awarded every two years to a Greek artist living in Greece or abroad. The prize aims to showcase the work of a new and emerging generation of artists and it is an integral part of the Foundation's policy for supporting and promoting contemporary art in Greece.
The Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens will celebrate International Museum Day -- and Night -- on 16 and 17 May with a series of events, continuing a tradition begun in 2005 by the museum directorate of the French Ministry of Culture, which coordinates the celebration for Europe. This year's Night at the Museums is being staged under the auspices of the Council of Europe, the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and UNESCO. "Museums and Tourism" has been set as the topic for 2009.

Painting, handwork, theatre and fairy-tales for children. Every Saturday, from October 20 till the end of May, the Museum of Cycladic Art houses a series of creative workshop for children of all ages: a painting workshop, handwork and constructions workshop, theatre play and the programme "Learning by playing".
Ninety works from the famous Costakis Collection, representing all the groups and movements of the Russian avant-guard (1900s-1930s) are on display at the Museum of Cycladic Art in Kolonaki district up to the end of October.
