Daniela Dessi and Fabio Armiliato are taking part in an evening of opera dedicated to Giacomo Puccini at the "Megaron" Athens Concert Hall on 19 May. Italian diva Dessi has been described as the most accomplished singer of Puccini's work, while Armiliato is among the most important tenors of the last decade. The Orchestra of Colours accompanying the artists will be conducted by Marko Boemi.
Madame Butterfly leaves the traditional opera stage behind to come closer to the audience. The performance of the popular opera by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini will be presented at Club EDO in a specially designed space reminiscent of the Far East. It is an unusual but particularly functional stage adapted to the needs of the work, which is set in Japan in the early 20th century. See Madame Butterfly at Club EDO in Athens, Greece from 27 January to 28 March.
